The caps are not metal, they are plastic and of good size. They work well for low power facial treatments and should always be applied with conductive gel or product to preserve the equipment longer and not burn the plastic coating. The power it gives is too low, ideal for the eye area. Although the handle is of a very good size and it might be too large for the eyes.
